About Genealogical Services

Genealogical Services, as our name implies, is a full genealogical services company. The principles of GS have for many years been engaged in professional research under the names of Genealogical Services and Research International. With a staff of professional researchers, GS and our agents can handle even the most difficult research problems worldwide.

Now you can order special or specific searches from the comfort of your home or office, via the Internet. We will also line you up with a professional researcher if you want to have full-blown research conducted for you.

In 1977 our staff, under the name of Research International, began to do research on many celebrities known worldwide. To name a few, lineages were traced for such noted persons as John Wayne, Bob Hope, Jimmy Stewart, Henry Fonda, Richard Prior, Bing Crosby and Elvis Presley. These were interesting, but we found that "everyone" has interesting family history.

One of the focuses GS has taken in doing ancestral research for others, is to make the genealogy informative and exciting for our clients. Not only do we work to extend the pedigrees, but we try to learn personal things about the lives of the individuals being searched and the area where they lived. Our client reports always reflect historical research as well as just names, dates and places. There lies in each of us, in embryo, traits of our ancestors who have gone before us. Of course, we want to know more about them than just their names.

Genealogical Services recently purchased the publishing companies of Accelerated Indexing Systems, Inc. (AISI) and Ancestral Genealogical Endexing Schedules (AGES). We are now publishing and marketing all of the Federal U.S. Census Indexes, State and Territorial Census Indexes and many other titles. (Over 1000 genealogical titles). You can order our books by mail, phone or over the Internet.

We are new to the CD-ROM business, but have recently begun to publish data on CD's. Look for us to soar in this industry! We are excited about this and know you will be too. The CD's all have built in software. Nothing extra to buy in order to see what's on there. They are user friendly and exciting to use. Like our books, the CD's can be ordered by mail or on the Internet. Future plans include putting much of our data online. This will be a wonderful thing for your research. Keep an eye on GS. We want to provide what you need so you can do much of your own research right at your computer.

We are also looking for DATA PROVIDERS. If you have written or compiled genealogical records, indexes or books, GS would be very interested in putting your information on CD-Roms and directly online on the Internet. We would also be interested in marketing your published books for you. Generous Royalties provided for all mediums used.
